Tatva Photography

 

We were given an assignment of " Tatva " in which we could use any element such as air ,water , fire , smoke etc. I took smoke as my element also we needed to show an emotion with the help of that element with some human element in it too . I tried to show " winter " and "helplessness " in my photograph . this smoke is produced by burning six matchsticks at a time . But some produced from matchsticks don't last for too long .

keeping in mind of low light in forward and bright behind I clicked around 40 pictures in order to get correct smoke and feel . After selecting the picture i did some colour correction in photoshop and then submitted it .

 Light Painting

 Second assignment was on Long Exposure or Double Exposure method . Here we were asked to make a " Light Painting " using this method . In this method camera shutter speed is " Bulb " which takes a lot of light inside the censer of the camera . So we need to shoot this type of photographs in night or intense dark environment . I took this picture in night time with the help of my few friends for holding the lighting stuff in the manner I want . Even is its night we have to control the light so that it stays in control and give a good exposed image not the over or under exposed image . No photoshop used .
